US Presses UN, NGOs to Join Controversial GHF Aid Operation in Gaza

US Pushes UN and Aid Groups to Join Controversial Gaza Relief Effort Blamed for Hundreds of Deaths
Despite mounting criticism over deadly aid distribution in Gaza, the US is urging UN agencies and NGOs to partner with the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), an Israeli-backed group accused of operating “death trap” aid sites.
Washington, D.C. – The United States has called on United Nations bodies and international aid organisations to cooperate with the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) — a newly formed US-based group operating with Israeli military backing — to coordinate food aid in Gaza.
