Türkiye Set to Host International Defence Exhibition in Istanbul Next Week
Türkiye to Host Global Defence Industry Fair in Istanbul Starting July 22
Istanbul is set to host one of the world’s largest defence exhibitions next week, as the 17th International Defence Industry Fair kicks off on July 22. The six-day event will bring together leading global defence firms, government delegations, and military officials across multiple venues including the Istanbul Fair Center, Atatürk Airport, Wow Hotel, and Ataköy Marina.
Organized under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, and in coordination with the Turkish National Defence Ministry, Presidency of Defence Industries, and the Armed Forces Foundation, the fair will showcase cutting-edge military technology across land, air, sea, and cyberspace.
On display will be a wide array of defence systems, including:
- Armoured combat and tactical vehicles
- Unmanned ground, aerial, and maritime systems
- Infantry weapons and long-range anti-tank missiles
- Weapon systems, rockets, military simulators, and electronic warfare tools
- Power units and explosive ordnance disposal technologies
The event is expected to attract a high volume of attendees and feature multiple signing ceremonies and partnership announcements. The previous edition, held in July 2023, also took place in Istanbul, drawing significant international participation.
