At Kiev’s request, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke by phone with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Tuesday, the Turkish Communications Directorate reported.
The leaders discussed Türkiye-Ukraine ties and key regional and global developments.
Erdogan praised the progress in Ukraine-Russia negotiations hosted in Istanbul, calling it “valuable,” and voiced hope for “meaningful results on the ceasefire” in upcoming talks, seen as vital for achieving lasting peace.
