Five of Türkiye’s defence firms earned a place in the 2025 Defence News Top 100 ranking of the world’s most prominent defence companies.

Aselsan was the highest-ranked Turkish company, taking 43rd place with $3.54 billion in defence revenue. Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) followed in 47th, while Roketsan, Asfat, and MKE came in at 71st, 78th, and 80th, respectively.

TAI advanced three spots from last year, Asfat jumped 16 places, and MKE climbed four.

The global top 10 featured six companies from the United States, two from China, along with one each from the United Kingdom and France. Lockheed Martin maintained the lead with $68.39 billion in defence revenue, trailed by RTX and China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation.

Northrop Grumman placed fourth, General Dynamics fifth, and BAE Systems sixth. Boeing ranked seventh, China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited eighth, L3Harris Technologies ninth, and Thales tenth.

Overall, the list comprised 48 U.S. companies, six from the UK, five each from Türkiye, France, and China, four from Germany, and three apiece from South Korea and Israel.
