The Turkish Foreign Ministry has confirmed that Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan Al Shaibani will visit Türkiye on Wednesday, August 13.
“Asaad Hassan Al Shaibani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Syria, will pay a visit to Türkiye on 13 August 2025,” the ministry said in a statement, without disclosing details of the agenda.
The visit comes amid intensified regional diplomacy, with discussions expected to focus on security, humanitarian concerns, and political developments affecting Syria and its neighbours.
