Erdogan cautions about growing geopolitical tensions as Israel expands its operations across the Middle East.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has sounded the alarm over escalating geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, attributing the rise to Israel’s expanding military actions beyond Gaza.

Speaking in Istanbul on Friday, Erdogan claimed that the crisis, which he linked to what he called “genocide” in Gaza, has intensified with Israeli strikes in Lebanon, Yemen, Iran, and Syria.

He emphasized that the growing instability poses a serious challenge to regional peace and security, and urged Türkiye to take decisive action.

“With new strategies emerging in our region, it is an obligation of state prudence for Türkiye to move firmly to counter these plans,” Erdogan said.
