Erdogan says ‘Century of Türkiye’ vision is materialising

Erdogan: ‘Century of Türkiye’ Vision Taking Shape as Nation Moves Toward Terror-Free Future
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared that the long-envisioned “Century of Türkiye” is beginning to materialise, marking the start of a transformative era for the country.
“A new era is unfolding for our nation. Step by step, we are realising our vision of the Century of Türkiye,” Erdogan said on Sunday during the ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party’s 32nd Consultation and Evaluation Meeting in Ankara.
On the ongoing Terror-Free Türkiye initiative, Erdogan noted that Türkiye’s strategic messages — offering assurance to allies and warning adversaries — are effectively resonating.
He stated that Ankara is actively monitoring the PKK terror group’s disarmament on the ground through close coordination between the National Intelligence Organisation and the Turkish Armed Forces.
“We know exactly who we are up against. It’s not merely the puppets, but the puppet masters,” Erdogan said, asserting that Türkiye is nearing the end of a 47-year struggle with terrorism.
“We are on the brink of completely liberating our country from the grip of terrorism. Tangible signs of this are already emerging,” he added.
Erdogan urged all political parties in parliament to support the process in good faith, warning against attempts to undermine or politicise it.
“While many issues in life and politics can be reversed or repaired, obstructing a matter of such vital national importance — one that impacts the unity, peace, and stability of our 86 million citizens — is unacceptable,” he said.
He emphasised that the government’s approach reflects the sentiments of the entire nation, including the families of martyrs and veterans, and that decisions are being made with Türkiye’s long-term interests at heart.
As the parameters of this new era take shape, Erdogan stressed that responsibility lies not only with his AK Party and coalition partners like the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) and the DEM Party, but with all political actors across the spectrum.
