Erdogan: Türkiye’s Century Vision Is Becoming a Reality

President Erdogan: ‘Century of Türkiye’ Vision Begins to Take Shape

Ankara – July 13, 2025
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared that Türkiye is stepping into a new era, with the long-envisioned ‘Century of Türkiye’ gradually becoming a reality. Speaking at the 32nd Consultation and Evaluation Meeting of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) in Ankara, Erdogan said progress is already visible across multiple fronts.

“Step by step, we are transforming the Century of Türkiye from vision into reality,” he stated.

A Terror-Free Türkiye

Addressing national security, Erdogan emphasized progress in the “Terror-Free Türkiye” initiative, pointing to visible signs of the PKK terror group’s disarmament. He noted that Turkish institutions, particularly the National Intelligence Organisation (MIT) and the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK), are actively monitoring developments on the ground.

“We are not merely dealing with the puppets—we know the hands pulling the strings,” Erdogan said.
“We’re close to freeing the country from the grip of terrorism that has lasted nearly half a century.”

He also underscored the importance of unity and urged all parliamentary parties to support legislative steps that will further this process.

“No political actor should sabotage or derail such a vital national effort for short-term gains,” he warned.

Call for National Consensus

Erdogan stressed that political consensus is crucial to preserve national unity and social peace. He appealed to all political parties — including AK Party, MHP, and DEM Party — to recognize their shared responsibility in shaping this transformative era.

“This is not a task for one party or one leader; it’s a collective responsibility for the future of all 86 million citizens,” he said.

He also acknowledged the emotional weight of this process, especially for the families of martyrs and veterans, reiterating that national interests must take precedence over political rivalry.
